EUROTRILOGY - July 14, 2010

Shot in cities through Europe, an eclectic action-packed scenery set to a dance folk pop original.

Our heroes find themselves in peril, and just when all hope is lost, a savior emerges from the ashes - the one and only Josee Manes. But against a dark and villainous volcano, will they be able to save themselves and make it home in time?

In April of 2010, three young travelers set out on a melodious journey that would forever change the fate of our world.

How Does It Sound? - January 4, 2010

A friend of mine, Gavin Shelton, is kickstarting a music blog called How Does It Sound?

As his second featured artist, I had the honor of helping to push his new media with a couple live songs. Though earlier than I usually sing in a day, it was a good time and I hope you enjoy what we put together.

Female Artists take the stage - December 31, 2009

I've noticed that we are currently in a moment where the female artist wields a lot of power. My 3 new musical digs are all pop female artists. Gaga, Ke#%^@a, and Lily Allen. They of course all sing about sex and partying and boys and shit like that, but they have a clever swing to it and seem to have a lot of fun doing it. Not to mention their production quality is excellent (I wonder how involved they are in that process. Anyone know?) Point being, its going to be a challenge to find where the male artists are going to fit in popular music in the coming decade. Better get started. Nice work ladies : )

Some insurance companies consider domestic violence a "pre-existing condition." e.g. Women whose boyfriends or husbands have beaten them could be denied coverage for that reason.

I WON! - September 3, 2009

I want to share a sincere thanks with everyone. Every vote made all the difference and now my next move is to perform at the Charleston Green Fair (SEPT 27). And while I'm still ecstatic from the result, I want you to know what I'm getting into.

The Green Fair is to create enthusiasm for green products, services, & technologies. As our environmental approach quickly becomes the biggest focus of our societal reformation, we need help push ourselves over the fence of insularity. So BAM! Come to the Green Fair. I will be co-headlining the event with Jesse Colin Young (who sang "Come on people now, smile on your brother, everybody get together, and we'll love one another right now." in the 60's) He became "a soundtrack for peace during an era of great social change. Today, our world is in another flux of great change, climate change. It will definitely be the defining issue for the young and old of this generation." -Dana Beach, founder & director of the SCCCL.

I agree with Dana. Saving the world has been my super objective since I wrote my first song at 14. Now I am finally getting a chance to share my music for the good of this beautiful planet. The Green Fair is on the last Sunday in Sept. (the 27th) in Marion Square park downtown Charleston. Its going to be awesome.

Alright, enough w/ this hippie stuff.

Thanks for voting!
Love you all.

BFOM ALBUM COMPLETED!! - May 26, 2009

After many hours and days of recording this project, the final stretch (hauled through over the last 40 hours straight) is over and the album is completed. Ladies and Gentlemen, here we are.

I thank the band for being the wonderful musicians they are as well as my listening and finalizing dream-team, Trevor Murray (who mastered the CD), Kristin Abbott, and Tim Giles, the artistic voices behind the final stretch of the project.

After many obstacles we had to over-come, even in the final hours of putting the final master together, we've shipped our product off to OASIS DISC MANUFACTURING for replication.

CD release is scheduled for June 11th @ the Vendue Inn Rooftop - 6pm.

The album will feature a Corey Webb EP for the first 5 songs and a Bodies Full of Magic EP for the last 7 songs. It represents kind of a transition from the reckless abandon of my solo career to the refreshing mystery that is and forever will be, Bodies Full of Magic.

Bonnaroo - June 16, 2008

MUSIC PAGE UPDATED!

I just arrived to the Charleston home-front from the most outrageously epic music festival in the world - Bonnaroo. The Wooden House Records founders (Tim, Dave, and myself) all traveled up there with a few other beautiful folks and experienced some of the most amazing shows from around the globe. Vampire Weekend, Grand Ole Party, !!!, M.I.A., My Morning Jacket, Iron & Wine, Sigur Ros, Yonder Mountain String Band, Ladytron, Abigail Washburn w/ Bela Fleck, Alison Krauss and Robert Plant just to name a few. Relix Magazine had a tent there and an ad for the Corey Webb Music Coalition was featured in their summer issue that will be officially released July 1st (If you've been directed here from RELIX please visit the music page). Wooden House is inspired with renewed vigor to set its sights back to the top and we're planning a big house show in mid-july to prove it. Keep an eye out.

On the music page I've got a brand new original song that I recorded with a beautiful singer and musician named Kristin Abbott.
