Songwriter, naturalist, recording artist. He recently received his degree in Music Theory/Composition at the College of Charleston and has orchestrated, recorded, & performed his contemporary music with musicians from the Charleston Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, & various colleges in the southeast. After a grand trip of music through Europe, his current project takes him back to a raw vocal folk with tight and subtle production. After three wild albums, he has developed his sound as an energetic folk pop for the beautiful and heavy heart - and his live show reflects this.
Corey's song "Coconut" is the winner of the Music with a Message Contest presented by the South Carolina Coastal Conservation League. He co-headlined and sang w/ Jesse Colin Young ("come on people now, smile on your brother...") at the Charleston Green Fair in late September.
Save the world.
